Bonzi Buddy without Spyware?

Hello and I was recently thinking about back when I had bonzi buddy on my old computer. But Considering I don't want to get spyware on my pc, is there any version of him without the virus?
If there is, please send me a link. I have been trying to use DeskBot to change the voice of peedy to match Bonzi but its just not the same...

Considering it was created as adware/spyware... it was discontinued and broke COPPA law.
