Places to download Steam Games? [Locations w/ Internet]
I've been waiting for this game to come out for a long time (Cities Skylines) and all I've asked was some peace and quiet to play the game when it comes out but now my internet ♥♥♥♥ out and went all derpy on me and I called my ISP and they said they'll send out someone on the 14th, the internet is barely working for 2 days now and the game I want is coming out tomorrow. And I was wondering if you guys can suggest any places to go with my laptop and download the game (the game is 4GB, but should be 1-2GB compressed thanks to Steam using compression).

I've tried to call the local gaming place in my town that has high speed internet but that place closed down so I'm screwed on that part, I don't really have any friends who have good internet. I live in America so we don't persay have "desinated internet cafe's" but we do have like Barnes N' Nobles w/ Starbucks, but would that place have high speed internet to download the game somewhat fast?

The reason why I want to know is like I said, been wanting this game for a long time and now my internet turned to ♥♥♥♥ [it was ♥♥♥♥ anyway and I got 500-600kb/s, now I BARELY get 500 bytes to 16kb/s... Sheesh, if I wanted dial up, I would of bought it. WOW! This internet service sucks!

McDonalds has basic wifi. You could always go there during Breakfast time, order a coffee and download the game while drinking. Or you could just go to any Coffee shop. Pretty much ever single one has wifi. It's like a Coffee Shop perk.

The Office Depot near my house has high-speed(if I remember right) internet. You could also try there.

Do all coffee shops have basic wifi and when you say basic, what's the avg download speed we are talking about? I can't really complain on it being slow, just curious; and thank you for replying.

The HomeDepot here, there is really no place to sit down and no real shops I could sit by to steal their internet, haha. Thank you though.

Starbucks uses Google/AT&T right now. So likely the average speed a wireless hotspot will get you. I have no idea, since I can't get AT&T or Verizon wireless hotspots here. I've tried.

I think all Cafe's and Restaurants that use wireless hotspots go with AT&T.
