I found this one on Steam, looks very similar to Super Mario Bros: 8BitBoy

Maybe Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams. I gave up on the first boss, though, so I can't really say it's "good".

That one is similar but you've to solve some puzzle stuff for winning. Ain't like Super Mario Bros, just the look is like.

If you are looking for Mario like games, you shouldn't miss these 2 games - "Cally's Caves" and "Cally's Trials"

Unfortunately Nintendo is very restrictive with their media and like to have tight control over it at all times

Kao the Kangaroo is similar to Mario 64, especially Round 2, here on Steam:

The game has graphics, physics and gameplay mechanics, that remind me of Mario 64, including some world objects.

There is nothing more Marioish on Steam than Kao 2, as far as I know. The game is cheap and runs very well on latest Windows 10 - though it's always also a matter of what hardware you use!
