Are PS2 Controllers compatible to Steam games?
Hey there. I have been trying to get my PS2 to work for steam games for some time now. I would love to play many games in my library with it so I can relax with a different way of playing games. I was wondering if any of you could help me so I could play games with it instead of keyboard and mouse.

a ps3 controller with motionjoy *use xbox 360 profile* will work on games that *support xbox 360 controller* but is it even posible to connect a ps2 controller to a pc? lols

If you buy a Gamepad adapter it can work. But lately most games just don't support any other gamepad than 360 so you'll have to do quite a lot to get it to work.

A PS3 gamepad work better as it's more easily detected. Right now I just use a program called scpserver and it installed drivers and such. Now the gamepad has rumble and all.

With MotioninJoy, there's a PS2 option. Of course, to install its drivers you'll have to revert your time pre-2015 -date temporarily; and I'd recommend using the BetterDS3 executable after the drivers themselves have been installed.

You'll still need an adapter to connect the PS2 controller to your PC though.

I've never used scpserver, how is that in practice?
