Guess it is because it is just a vanity username, I forgot what it is called but every user has a steamID that is stored with their account that never changes as well as your actual accountname that you login with xD

Every user is ranked by number. From 1 to every other. To the computer and server, we are just a number determined by how many accounts were made at the time.
