I've been using computers since I was a toddler, earliest games I remember are The Hobbit, Skool Daze and Cliff Hanger (and his brother Coat!)

I remember playing on a friend's Apple 2c. He had Conan, Wolfenstein, Into the Eagle's Nest, and Oregon Trail.. Those are my earliest experience with pc gaming, but as I stated, I truly didn't get into the pc gaming until I got my own Atari 800XL. :p
My ZX Spectrum
Anyone remember Flight Simulator 1, Zork 1, Wizardry? I think it might have been a commodore or however you spell it.
Wizadry 1 the original was a marvel for its time.
The first day I saw a computer I said "Daddy whats that?" He said it was something called a computer that you could do all sorts of magical things on. When i finally got my first PC I was facsinated by the Titanic. So I looked for a game with Titanic. VS7 had the ugliest titanic ever, and Hudizzle hadnt made his ship yet. So I searched Titanic Simulator. It said :Did you mean "Ship simulator 2008 Titanic?" I was thrilled and looked at the results! there was a game called Ship simulator 2008 with a beautiful Titanic! Upon finally getting the game. I realized I had wasted my money. For the only Interior was the 2nd class staircase. I cried every night until recently, Euro Ship Simulator was announced. I cried with joy as I looked at the game and I cant wait until it is released! -Kirito
PC was my first experience with any games period, so there's that. Though as far as getting into more high-end stuff, it was only 5 months ago when I took the plunge for a gaming rig. I'll admit it was partly because I wanted to play Fez, and my laptop wouldn't run the game at all with its Intel Integrated Graphics. I also didn't want to have to buy a next gen console as I had already bought the Wii U, but still wanted a machine that could do more than just games. Haven't looked at my consoles since then.
It all started with TF2. And that all started with one video.

One stupid, nonsensical, dumb video. Which I'm kinda regretting sharing with the lot of you.

Well I saw that Steam was giving away free cookies one day so I joined for the cookies then I got sucked in by the rather large discounts.
We had a PC, and it could play games, so, why not?

IBM PC jr. early to mid 1980's, and it just kept getting better from there.
I think the first games we had for the IBM, other than the educational crap that came with it, were Boulderdash, Boulderdash II and Wizardry.

Because of the hover-bumper-cars game on the windows 95 disc.
Oh god i have no idea..... First ever game played was snowballfight for windows 95 i think. I also remember the original doom demo, and train simulator 2000. Sim city 3000/4/ roller coaster tycoon 1 were also very big games to me. Any kind of simulator or tycoon game blew me away as a kid for some reason., also some leggo knight castle builder game. Then came runescape in like 04, it was my first ever online game and it amazed me. For a few years that was the game of my life, i would get home from school - get on the hardline phone with a friend and play it until bed. Around the same time my friend got CSS and that was also amazing to me, but my pc couldnt run it. The best game i could really ever run from 04 to 2011` was runescape. Built my first gaming pc in 2012, sold it and built a much better one in 2013 and here i am. I also had a super nintendo, ps2, and xbox360 in there. Havnt touched a console in 2 or 3 years now since they are pathetic

I also remember just dying to play rts games like rome total war and other total war games back in the day, but i never could because my dads pc was junk.

Still play a lot of counterstrike. every once in a while i will play rome total war.
I wanted an alternative to my 360 and I wanted to try out MMOs.
When I was around 9, I discovered a joystick and couldn't stop playing with it. Parents said it's a normal part of growing up as a boy.
three words: Not on steam. But not decent either. Plus taht is recent. Did you start 2 years ago child?
