Simple, defriend them, and if they keep bothering you after that, block them.

I run a full background check on them. Get their name, phone number and address. Access their social media and data mine their personal details. Then call up their mommy and inform them that their son has won all these wonderful prizes and all expense paid trip to see the playboy mansion from a well known adult site. They just need permission from their legal guardian and a small booking fee deposited into an off shore nigeria bank account.

Oh, well that complicates things. Try to politely ask them to stop, and say that you're getting annoyed. If they don't stop after that, then they don't sound like very nice "friends" to me.

If they are you're friends in real life, more reason to confront them.

My damned boss at work was on my friend's list, requesting I gift him my Summer Sale cards, and I ended up blocking and unfriending the bugger and told him why the next day at work.

They're the ones begging for free stuff, yet you're the one worried about sounding like a ♥♥♥♥? It doesn't make you a ♥♥♥♥ just because you don't wanna give free items to people.

Politely ask them to stop, if they keep doing it anyway, unfriend them.

I had a friend named KeyboardCat that constantly asked me to give him my Rancho Relaxo taunt in TF2. I told him several times that it was not for sale, but he kept doing it anyway. Eventually i unfriended him.
