2014=Worst year for gaming?

Every game this year has been a complete disappointment. Of all the years I have been gaming, this honestly has got to be the year with the least amount of worthwhile games. Titanfall and Destiny were both overhyped games that turned out to be only decent at best, and besides those two, there has not been any noteworthy games that have released this year. I suppose the only 4 games left this year that have sparked some sort of an interest in me are The Evil Within, Alien: Isolation, Dragon Age: Inquisition, and The Binding Of Issac: Rebirth.
And even now I feel like about half of those games will turn out to be ♥♥♥♥ too. wtf 2014.

Well if you wanted "every single game on the face of the earth" I am sure at-least one of them would require steam.

GTA V and The Last of Us and Tomb Raider remastered editions, although they arent new games that came out this year for those who havent played them i would consider those 3 games alone to make it a good gaming year. There were a few games that i bought this year that i was very pleased with

Watch Dogs
The Walking Dead Season 2
The Wolf Among Us
PvZ Garden Warfare

Also games i dont have yet but i know are good

South Park Stick of Truth
Dark Souls 2
Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor

Do you have any idea how many PS3, PS4, XBOX 360, XBOX ONE exclusives there are? Also even though steam have alot of games, and i know i might get flamed for this, but ide say 30% of the games on steam are crappy indie games ide never even look at playing, and dont call me a casual i own 300+ different games on PC, PS4, PS3 combined, with quite a few indie games.

Easily, there is tones if ♥♥♥♥ on steam, they really need to get rid of some of it.

TitanFall would be better, if the match making system was refined.. The gameplay is mad fun...
And I know the game "Orion Prelude" has been around for awhile as DinoHorde, but the final cut of the game was released this year on Steam, and I find it awesome fun.. It wasn't released as Orion Prelude until August 2014...
Alien: Isolation... If this game is 1/2 as good as Outlast, then as a survival title it will rock! We need a good Aliens game.. Their hasn't been one since Aliens 2 came out..

Not all games released this year have been ♥♥♥♥ so far in my opinion. Sniper Elite 3 for example was pretty good.
