This. Even though only a couple episodes are out right now I definitely have extremely high hopes for it.

Some of my favorites:
InuYasha
Watamote
K-On
Hunter X Hunter
Cowboy Bebop (the anime with the best English dub and most unique characters in anime)

The Big O (think of it as Batman with a giant robot)

Dragon Ball

High School DxD (best ecchi I watched, yeah I'm a perv)

Afro Samurai (♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Samuel L Jackson)

On the full-length movie side, I say Akira.

attack on titan, samurai x, detective conan, conan boy from future

'american cartoons': the simpsons, futurama, american dad, family guy.

Nope. Ranma 1/2 has the best english dub.

Debatable, some even say Fullmetal Alchemist had the best English dub. But I think Bebop is one of the few dubs where they put a lot of effort into it and might be even better than the original Japanese version.

Which isn't exactly wrong, because Cowboy Bebop was not a typical anime, in terms of pacing and characterization.

SAO was amazing for like the first 8 episodes then it took a massive nosedive and completely shifted focus from action to romance and love triangles and ♥♥♥♥. I don't recommend it.
Bible Black and Princess 69 has to be the best I've ever seen.

I've only seen 1 fan-made anime and it wasn't too bad.

Touhou: Fantasy Kaleidoscope/Memories of a Phantasm.

Highschool DxD and Highschool of the Dead are different shows. And I also don't recommend either of them.
