Simply play loud heavy metal music, shred, and a drum track over the top to drown out any bad lyrics and improve bad song quality to a more bearable listening level...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0VuttSbxtUY

Or consider audacity for vocal isolation?

Make a copy of your original stereo track .

Effect > Vocal Remover (for center-panned vocals only though)...

Effect > Noise Removal... and get a noise profile on the copied track (vocals).

Now select the original track and use that noise profile to remove the vocals.

Delete the copied track.

Its really easy if you have Traktor or Ableton. If so, just msg me and I can help you.

Audacity does not work i tryed
Audactiy will actually work. But you wont end up with best results.
Audacity will only work well on center-panned vocals as mentioned. There's still others available to try too.

Well then, what other programs are there? I want the best one to remove the vocals.

Also, what does "center-panned vocals" mean?

Thank you in advance.

How do i get it when it is not Center
If you have a surround sound audio, then the guitarist might be on the right, bass on the left, drums in the middle/rear, etc. Center-panned vocals would be a single people singing front/center stage - which in 5.1 surround sound only comes out the front middle speaker.

If you don't have this, a trick could be to convert your audio from surround or stereo to mono only, inverting, and/or filtering out freq ranges. A good idea is to strip the bass first, etc - then merge them back together.

Something like this:

How well though, as far as I know these things just remove certain frequencies which are in the range of human voices, but it ends up damaging the music track as well.

I'm not sure what op is asking for is possible, you need to source the multitrack original source of the music where they lay down separate music tracks for each component of sound.

How else do you separate audio tracks, they all will do that, remove certian freqs. If you break them apart and relayer them, no1 is the wiser.

Unless it's custom made music or something, most popular tracks online have an instrumental version if you Google it.

Well they don't usually need to, professional music is recorded in multiple tracks. After you mix its like trying to uncook soup....stuffs just too mixed together.
