TWITCH - All about streaming (Help forum)

Hey guys!

Is there any streamers here at Steam discussions? I was just wondering, what software i should use and what settings i should pick. Atm i have the software OBS, but it's said that my stream lags and i really don't know why. I've found some old videos on youtube (created 3-4 years ago) but they didn't really help. It's maybe some new updates in OBS since 4 years back that can fix a lot of problems.

Do you know any good guides for optimizing OBS to get the best quality without lags?

My comp setup:
i5 4670K
ASUS Radeon R9 280X
16 gb ram
250 mbit up/down
