Question about American Horror Story/AMS Freakshow

So i saw the trailer for American Horror Story Freakshow and i really wanna see it, however it starts on Oct 5 which is in 2 weeks and there's no way im gonna watch 38 episodes x 45-50 minutes an episode in 2 weeks, So my question is, do i HAVE to watch the previous 3 seasons in order to understand this season? The reason i ask is because it seems like each season has its own theme and characters, since i noticed that Kathy bates has starred in the show, as 2 different characters, which made me question whether i really have to watch the previous seasons to enjoy Freakshow.

thats what so great about it, every season is a new story , played out by SOME of the same actors /actresses.

only thing you might not understand is when , they do right close up on "random 1 ep story people" is because we (us who watch all seasons) know them from one of the other seasons.

and you might not know who pepper is.
