I miss dual wielding in shooters

SinceI played Lara Croft the first time I'm a big fan of dual wielding I'm a bit sad that less and less shooters that are released nowadays don't have this feature anymore. Whenever I play something like Payday 2 or even Watch Dogs I always imagine how cool it would be to use two pistols or SMGs at the same time and gun down your enemies. I'm ok that some franchises like Battlefield or ArmA don't have it, but even unrealistic shooters like Call of Duty, Crysis 2&3, Titanfall. Hell even Lara had to discard her dual pistols in favour of a bow. The only modern game with dual wielding I know of (except the CoD multiplayer) is Wolfenstein The New Order. And hell yeah, it was a lot of fun playing the demo at Gamescom last year and gunning down Nazis with my dual shotguns. I wnat more of these moments back in shooters.

Left 4 Dead 2 lets you dual wield pistols, so does Just Cause. Other then that though... I've got nothing.

Probably balancing I bet, that and the submachine gun needs some love.

Also some say Nisha from the Borderlands pre-sequal will be able to dual wield. Not confirmed, but it's a strong beliefe. So that's a thought too.

team play: dual wield pistols in left 4 dead 1/2.
(but i doubt you can survive the zombie hords if your backup team is not skilled enough to cover you)

solo play: hitman series.

You can dual wield in Serious Sam I think. Pretty much any of them.

Guns in Devil May Cry games only work ok on the weakest enemies in the game. So that is the least fun game to use the guns in.
