Good racing game with lots of customisation, open world, different types of racing etc
I just bought Grid2 and I'm disappointed with the racing, it's just boring and I was hoping there would be some customsation etc in it but anyway I'm looking for a good racing game which has lots of customisation, open world isn't a must but it would be nice.

I'm trying to think of like a grand turismo game which has F1 racing, dirt road, super cars, track racing, snow etc all in one game.

What are some good racing games? I like the idea of starting off in a ♥♥♥♥ game are winning races, earning money, waging cars and just unlocking better cars and performance modules as you go.

This seemed to be the most fun and realistic one, but it's in Early Access.

If you're looking for customization, i would recommend Motorstorm apocalypse for the PS3. However, if you're looking for an offroad-various race types, i would recommend Motorstorm pacific rift.

Need for Speed Carbon pretty much ticks all of the boxes but you'll need a disc

- Open World (with cops)
- In depth customisation like how long and tall a spoiler is for example amongst others
- Work your way up system
- Few different race types -> Circuit, sprint, drift, boss fights and some more
- There's about 30 something cars which isn't much but they're all different and not like some modern games where they have 50 different model of one car plus they are all cars you'd like to use.
- The racing mechanics are quite good too. Not super realistic but still fun to play.

Best open world racing with buggys, race cars, motorcycles, 4WD trucks, etc = Fuel. But can only buy steam key outside of steam.
Best open world racing is Burnout Paradise.
Both of these are arcade type racing and limited customisation however. Also do not play multiplayer games so do not know weather their multiplayer aspect of game is any fun or still active for that matter.
