Because they can't comprehend in their tiny little minds that someone could possibly enjoy something that they themselves don't enjoy. Also it's just a generic insult, such as the old gem "14 year old living in your moms basement".

When I was 14, id have loved to have a basement. Ever had a basement? It's baller.

But i personally think it's one of the lamest insults ever. If the person who wrote something didn't have a life, he WOULDN'T have been able to write the comment.
