I should mention im 27 :P the only anime i can get into are ones like Berserk, i hate all these kiddie ones and prefer story to the point ect.

Nice list and i have seen all of them :) Most of them decent, i dont think ive seen Silent Running, may pick that 1 up thanks :)
Ive came across this anime Space Battleship Yamato 2199, seems really nice from the youtube clip, i think the Dandy one is more kiddie yeah, it has multicoloured robots and stuff haha.
And make sure to watch the sequel, Aliens, as well. I'm sure you'll like them.

Space Battleship Yamato 2199 is pretty good so i recommend this to anyone who fancys a scifi anime.
2001: A Space Odyssey is super good though. And Littlefoot knows what's up with the Aliens franchise.
