Gladiator Theme-based RPG / Fighting Game

First of all - sorry for my bad english... im from Germany.

I opened this thread because im really focused to find a new Gladiator Theme-based Game.

Im really open to the Genre, when the Game brings good Gameplay with it...

Here is a List of the few "good" Gladiator Games... and they are 7-12 Years old now and nearly all are for Consoles yet (Playstation 2, Xbox (the first one, not the new generation one, Gamecube and a few of them for PC)

• Gladiator AD

I also tried Spartacus Legends, a new title - its just for PS3 and Xbox 360, a Fighting Game, Free to Play and have alot of Bugs + Perfomance problems that make it unplayable. Ryse - Son of Rome or what its called is no title that must be named.

There are some more Games with this Theme, but they are old, not good or copys of the named ones (and i mean nearly 1:1 copys - with the old graphic, the old controlls and such things)

I searched nearly through the whole Internet for alternative Games or upcoming Projects... and there is nothing.

Thats the reason why im here... the reason why im writing this Thread and want YOUR help!

Did i missed some titles that are upcoming? Do you know any Kickstarter Projects, any Pubishers which planning to create such Games?

Does anyone have a idea how we can make this "problem" more popular?

A new Gladiator theme-based Game is really required!

Wouldnt it be awesome if we got a new Gladiator themed Game with focus on the Gladiator Fights - eventuelly on the Lanisters too... the Gladiators could be purchased by a Slave Market and have to train in your Ludus... you can eqip them with some sort of Armour from the Market which should be expensive and limitated, if you are at the maximum of eqipment there could be tournement Armour you can only get by good rating in the big tournements.

Also this game would have a big replay-ability when there would be the Chance to match other People online, with a ranking System.

There could also be a 2vs2 - 10vs10 Game modes, some Arenas with random Events which the Gladiators have to stand off.... like Tigers or Bears.

There would be much Content which can delivered as Expansion. Like roman chariot tournements or something like a Coop Campaign where you can play through the Story two Slaves that get trough all that (like the Movie Gladiator for example).

I think this ... i name it a own "Genre" should rise again... there are opportunities to make a lot of money for the developers that do such a Project, because there is nearly no competition with other Publishers in years.

I m looking for that sort of game as well. So much things to do with that theme, just if you look at historical facts, there should plenty different events to create when you enter the arena.
