Every country should consider using chopsticks
Over the years going to asian restaurants, I've acquired ability to use chopsticks. This changes everything in dining experience. The things I couldn't pick up using fork or spoons, I had to use bare hands, and get them dirty. Chopsticks can be very versatile and precise, that I can pretty much separate and/or grab any tiny food that I want. It's amazing.

Eating soup with chopsticks takes too long, the soup is always cold before I'm done. :(

I both enjoy chopsticks and cutlery

In the legendary words of Confucius 🤔 "man who eat soup with stick, sit at table very long time."

i carry my personal spork with me at all times. if i can't eat food with that, the food is probably not even worth eating at that point...

i know if no dish that i cannot consume with my spork that i would need chopsticks for....

I am so glad to live in Europe. There is a reason why everyone tries to come here and it’s certainly not chopsticks, lol.
Are you under the impression that countries that traditionally use chopsticks don't also have forks and spoons? xD

I am sorry, but i cannot eat properly with them. Cannot work my way towards eating fast and incidents-free, either. They are very nice, quite interesting, trully elegant, but still...

And truth be said, even asians who emigrated in my country, sometimes prefer a spoon, a fork and a knife set, for dining.

They do, but they rarely use it. Never met anyone in Vietnam, China, Japan or Korea that uses fork and knife in public.

They do that for the camera mate. You clearly live nowhere near there.

Oh my life. 😏

Oh my life, go to Italy and see for yourself. Why do you need a video for that ?>

Probably because you are not supposed to eat Sushi with chopsticks, even in Japan they eat it by hands...genius.

Why are they called chopsticks if they don't chop?
kilésengati 14/dez./2023 às 2:56
I don't know man, but where I live, people are free to buy chopsticks and to bring their own cutlery. If you want to eat an entire Eisbein with chopsticks only, you are free to do so.

Wrong chopsticks or badly prepared sushi or both.

Exactly, one can use whatever they want but there is a reason one does not eat an Eisbein using a chopstick as this would never work in a lifetime.

And as I said regarding Sushi to Pieshaman already, Sushi is supposed to be eaten with hands, not sticks. But hell, I have done it, I am guilty. I did eat Sushi with chopsticks but it never fell apart, only garbage sushi would do that, as you have already said.

Pieshaman has no clue about Sushi man.
