Brazil is dangerous. The Brazilian homicide rate is 21.2 per hundred thousand. It's only 5.8 in the U.S.A.

Evil is everywhere and people need to be hyper aware. Women shouldn't be alone on a dreaded subway with no patrols or protection.

If a woman has to be alone then she needs to be hyper aware of her surroundings. Scrolling your phone in these situations is just showing your lack of awareness.

It's really unfortunate, but you can no longer just chill in public, you have to be hyper aware and carry concealed weapon for personal protection.

Bystanders are going to be extremely unhelpful in any situation it looks like. Where are the patrols?

Back in the day there used to be patrols. Bike cops, horse, patrol car, on foot. Wtf happened? Need more patrol and heavy punishment. Bring back insane asylum.

Some people are just crazy. The broken thing about this is that the guy has a rap sheet older than she was. if I recall correctly. Part of the thing about it is that he was likely supposed to be in jail, but he got out on bail via gofundme.[www.dailymail.co.uk].

An amount a homeless person wouldn't ordinarily be able to afford or have somebody vouch for...

That guy is barely human. He is got some abnormal brain.
There is no good reason why someone like that should be at large...

If it was his first outbreak, it would make some sense...

But repeating crime after crime and being on the loose... its insane!

To think the poor girl escaped war to die of some random violence like that...
