love guns, never had much of an interest in cars. probably because they are not so necessary in my country, but eh. guns are cool though, and we have reasonable laws towards them here.

Nothing inherently but much of the hobby (particularly the tuning part) is centered on aspects of automobiles that rely on traditional combustion engines and the world is trying to move away from those. I haven't seen enough in the electric car space that inspires as much to love and dig into as combustion engines have (in particular I'm going to miss transmissions and gear ratios).

I used to hunt with my dad and brother, but my role was carrying what they shot. I would rather shoot with my camera. Shooting range wasn't particularly interesting for me either but my brother enjoyed it. So for me it's photography and hiking.

Car culture has been slowly dying, but there's still a community and access to some quite nice vehicles that you can work on or drop it off at a tuner. Guns are a bit more sensitive issue.
