ChatGPT is good at finding games your looking for. Its how I found the game some other thread was asking for, but I didn't want to necro the thread, so didn't respond. Ask AI.

tried that too no luck

What genre was the game, was it real-time strategy?
honestly it was a long time ago it was not real time i guess ..
the game was like this : you had units like tanks , soldiers , and other stuff you could order them to move around and after you were done there was a key you would click on and the game would start (you could also move them around and give them orders while the game was on going too )

it was around 2005 ish that i got my hands on that game

Rusted Warfare
Close Combat (maybe one in the series is modern, I don't know)

no it wasn't that the game had good artworks it wasn't like a kids drawing but the view (top-down) was exactly like this

The only other one I had OP was a game called Close Combat, unfortunately, that's already been mentioned :steamsad:

Did the game release in 2005, or was it a game from years prior? What year do you think it came out?

Was it World in Conflict?
