I am still confused about the whole woke thing.
I know it was about 'waking up' and recognising issues in society.

So, the topic at hand :
As a Modern Day Reagan Fanatic who believes in equal rights for all and more rights to those who make me more money especially regardless of anything beyond making me money on who you are.

Tell me some so called Woke Films prior 2010 .
These can be anything from 1800s to 2010 on what Woke is.

Walking dead is woke in hindsight theres gays and lesbians! So is gta San Andrea's for portraying that ethnicity as the main character! Latest superman movie has an Indian in it!

wake culture is about waking up to recognize the issues in society? then they put LGBT and colored characters in the films, so they are referring LGBT and colored people as issues?

seems like usual divide and conquer technique,
the issues for me in this society, is when I want to oppose something or someone, I cant really assess whether I can handle it or is it safe , I act on words in my head, some twist poetry I never have understand.

While there is some proto-woke content to be had in the early 2010s- woke itself isn't just an umbrella term for social agendas in film/games- it's an era.

2016 - 2024 is when woke thrived. Things from that time will always have the markers of woke.
Nothing before was really woke in the same way, despite sharing some of the same DNA here and there.
