Caving to the money lords
In response to Valve caving to the VISA and Mastercard money lords and depriving people of income due to some unknown person's prissy morality, I hereby deprive Valve of any future earnings that might be derived from my actions by promising never to purchase another product from Steam for as long as I live. This is a problematic way to approach a solution to the problem because now you've just declared that there is no incentive for them to ever improve their behavior insofar as earning any money from you is concerned.

Why not boycott Visa MasterCard and PayPal, or would that inconvenience you too much?
