ICE Agents tear gas closes a school
Trigger happy ICE Agents throwing around tear gas like crazy, bombarding a Portland neighbourhood, ended up forcing it's public school to flee.

There are now biohazards warning signs posted around claiming:
"This area has been sprayed with TEAR GAS & TOXIC CHEMICALS"

The nearby school was forced to abandon it's campus, claiming there was threat to the students health. Not knowing if new gases are being used and couldn't even identify them. They had students from kindergarten to 8th grade.

The schools play area has a warning sign posted:
"Harm being inflicted on our neighbors, ecosystem, students and school, including tear gas, “‘green’ gas, pepper balls, and rubber bullets reported near our campus"

Laura Cartwright quote: "If we would have stayed, we might have lost our school because of people’s concerns around safety!"

The ICE Facility sits 1/2 a block away from the school, bordered up with plywood tagged ICE = Gestapo

Activists have begun cataloging canisters collected from the streets. Various pictures of munitions labeled "CS", including "Green Smoke" and "Orange Smoke".

The Portland government taking steps to prevent ICE's chemical pollution from entering local waterways.

They also even have to clean up after ICE's mess leftover. Quote: "We can’t have children picking up a plastic tear-gas ball that’s going to pop."

It's even affecting the plants, quote: "We were getting nightly reports that green gas was enveloping our garden — our edible garden — and all of the different chemicals were impacting our soil."

This is the 2nd time Cottonwood has had to deal with the Trump Admin (1st term and now 2nd term). Quote: "I thought we wouldn’t have to go through this again at Cottonwood. But if anything, they’ve given more power to ICE, more unchecked authority. The Trump people are willing to put kids and families at risk."

Do you think the ICE Agents are too trigger happy and over reactive?

What would you suggest to stop them using harmful chemicals affecting the US Citizens families?

Don`t really need to bother yourself with question if your country is turning fascist or not anymore.

Tear gas is quite often used against rioters. So, where's the blame against people rioting and attacking ICE facilities, which is quite illegal?

In a free country, peaceful protesting isn't illegal.

For valid police usage of tear gas, it must require a fair clear warning first, safe dispersal routes and efforts to target only violent individuals rather than entire crowds.

Also, tear gas isn't the only option available to them.

ICE Agents are clearly working illegally and outside of the law, unrestricted. Their actions are therefore affecting others.

The ICE is allowed to wear a face mask and remain anonymous (including impersonations) without facing any legal actions, but you can't... is also rather a stupid concept and also just leads to more issues.

ICE Agents as well as Protesters can protect themselves from tear gases, when the public might not around them and the environment. It's why it's meant to be limited in usage.

"Tear gas should only be considered after de-escalation techniques or other non-violent alternatives to force have been attempted or are deemed unrealistic."

Why is there so much support amongst a portion of the US population for illegal immigrants?

Because it's not just about illegal immigrants... it's rather based upon a person's skin colour and stereotyped assumption (xenophobia) to who is being targeted by Trump, National Guards and ICE Agents. Including legal US Citizens and the homeless, etc.

Then it's the fact they don't want a police states and an Autocracy America.

Based on a person's skin color? Yet you people made a big scene over the woman from the UK, and a couple girls from Germany when they got deported too. Clearly, it's not about skin color, and constantly telling that lie doesn't suddenly make it fact.

illegal is illegal, regardless of skin color, I have heard that Europeans also get arrested and then deported.

ps: what has arresting and deporting illegals got to do with autocracy?

Trigger-happy ICE isn’t security, it’s insecurity weaponized. And the kids are the collateral.

Riots are illegal.

So if that's the case and you consider mostly peaceful protesting to be that of a riot - why was the Jan 6th US Capital Rioters all pardoned by Trump then?

This guy's narratives are so easy to debunk anyway. Most of them are based on flat out lies like when he actually tried to argue that Abregio-Garcia was a US citizen, knowing damn well that he wasn't.
Is this one of those parody threads, if not could I see a source ?

Not really it's about illegal immigration.

I worked with a woman who is white British and she was picked up by the old US Border Police (before ICE) years ago for overstaying her visa in the 90s.

The left seem to have a problem with personal responsibility and ensuring people who commit crime are punished.

It isnt just in the US but across the western world.

1. No matter what skin colour you are the law applies to you just as it does anyone else.

2. If you commit crime expect the police or other agencies to come after you who's job it is to enforce the law.

3. If you resist their attempts to detain you then force can and will be used against you.

I do not understand what is so hard to get your head around.

It's either FULLY peaceful, or it's partially violent, and once it's violent, it's a riot. So you prove my point, yet I can guarantee you're going to continue on trying to gaslight, obfuscate, and lie your narrative to the front and center.
