We all go through periods where we feel lost, it's a part of life. Because sure you could have a goal and stick to it now, but say decades later, you're now middle aged and doing everything you wanted within reason and likely have made peace with the more unrealistic dreams, now what?

I just found out Giancarlo Esposito (BB, BCS fame) was absolutely desparate in his life and totally lost, and considered the worst/unthinkable before landing his defining roles and becoming successful

And I am pretty sure I am still younger than he was before he struck it big

So...I have not given up hope on my own dreams.

But I would be lying and deluding myself if I said I wasn't totally lost at this point in my life right now. I am. It's part of life...stress from this is eating away at me quite viciously, but this is a troubling time for quite a lot of people...

I've been lost before, nearly chronically so, and so this feeling isn't novel to me. It's just this round of uncertainty has been the most intense thus far.
