No one likes China's behavior in the South China Sea
Australia’s defense minister and his Philippine counterpart meet in Manila on Friday for talks spotlighting their concern over Beijing’s actions in the South China Sea, where Filipino forces were on alert after China deployed a larger number of coast guard forces closer to Manila’s military ship outpost in a fiercely disputed atoll.

Australian Defense Minister Richard Marles is visiting while Australian forces engage in their largest combat exercises with the Philippine military, involving more than 3,600 military personnel in live-fire drills and battle maneuvers. Marles has been invited to witness a mock amphibious beach assault by Australian and Filipino naval forces over the weekend in a western Philippine town facing the South China Sea, Philippine military officials said.

imho each inhabited island needs to put some personnel to use on those drills.

China is incredibly aggressive down there.
They seem to want to provoke an "incident".

China is, by a vast majority, atheistic.

Here's the Copilot synopsis:

China is often considered one of the most atheistic countries in the world, with a significant portion of its population identifying as atheist or non-religious.

Atheism in China

Statistics: According to various surveys, approximately 61% to 68% of the Chinese population identifies as "convinced atheists," with an additional 29% claiming to be non-religious. Only about 7% to 10% of the population identifies as religious. This makes China one of the countries with the highest number of atheists globally.

Government Influence: The Chinese government promotes atheism as part of its ideology, stemming from the Communist Party's historical stance against organized religion. The state controls religious practices and discourages religious beliefs through education and media. The constitution provides for religious freedom, but in practice, the government maintains strict oversight of religious activities and organizations.

Historical Context

Cultural Factors: Atheism in China has deep historical roots, influenced by Confucianism, which does not center around a belief in a deity. The rise of atheism has been further accelerated by events such as the Cultural Revolution, which sought to diminish the influence of religion in society.

Modernization and Secularism: Rapid economic development and urbanization have also contributed to a shift towards materialism and secularism, diverting attention from spiritual matters.

Conclusion

While the Chinese government officially promotes atheism and a significant portion of the population identifies as atheist or non-religious, it is essential to recognize that there are still many individuals in China who practice various religions, albeit under strict regulations. The landscape of belief in China is complex, reflecting a blend of historical, cultural, and political influences.

What they like is irrelevant. Australia is being destroyed through immigration. Most areas are unrecognizable due to demographic invasion, which will lead to national security issues. People are always loyal to their own first, so don't be surprised when China matches in undetested due to your unwillingness to discriminate.
