im visiting friends in Germany for new years, i will request 1 of each :D

So what you have to keep in mind is, a real Weisswurst, in Bavaria, they often boil only for a minute or so. Its basically liquid inside you " suck " out, eating it with sweet mustard, a bretzel and a weissbier.

that sounds yuk, i will try 1 :D

Wiener Würstchen (Vienna sausage) is my favourite.

Now, here comes the thing..

Wiener Wuerstchen are actually Frankfurters.

Frankfurters were made in Frankfurt and Wiener Wuerstchen were Frankfurters made in Vienna. lol. They differ only to some extend.

Vienna sausages are not the same as a normal Frankfurts so yeah i may get the name wrong but i mean Vienna sausages. The best ones i tried were in Germany tho.

The only difference is that Frankfurters are made only from pork and have a protected origin from Frankfurt, while Wieners usually contain both pork and beef and are not geographically protected.

" Vienna Sausages " are Wiener Wuerstchen.

Obviously you can't compare the so called Frankfurter with the ones in Germany either.

There is no " best " as we have probably thousands of types, privately owned and so on.

I personally like Veltins, Jever, Duckstein, Flensburger and various others.
hotdog pew pew ?

Why is Germany, a defeated power, so keen to rearm and adjust its spending to military, less than a century after the Second World War?

Germany is a leading economic power in Europe and a core NATO member, and its security commitments require modern and capable armed forces to deter threats and support allies. The decision to increase defence spending follows changes in the European security environment, particularly Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, which has underscored the need for stronger collective defence.

Germany is not “keen to rearm” for its own sake, it is keen to avoid being an easy target for an expanding nuclear power that is openly hostile to everything the West and NATO stand for, and that has already taken the first steps by using conventional warfare and sabotage within our borders. This is not just Germany, it is the reality for all NATO countries right now, and strengthening defence is simply about meeting those security challenges head on.

Horrible German.

I only understand some of it and if I would be the German grammar, I would probably press charges.

I feel violated now.

hahahaha yeah. i like showing this scene to germans because of how horrible it is. to my ears i cannot be telling much difference, but to a german it must feel like torture to hear their language butchered so.
