cod beavis & butthead - OT question
i could care less about the game but this particular bit of trivia interests me...

u see the trailers promos whatever, they clearly don't look like classic b&b. i figure they've been intentionally aged -- made to look 18 i.e. adult -- because of whatever hodgepodge of policies that say it's illegal to have kids running around killing. even in a game. even if it's just other kids. :P (i mean, clearly the fact that it's just in very bad taste, would not be so much as a speed bump to them...)

so, what's the lore? not as easy to ask here as a web search, but hopefully more entertaining.

i would have asked this in cod forums, but, apparently version 6 is one of an i-can't-even-tell-you-how-small-because-that's-how-rare-it-is number of games on steam that actually has to use and enforce steam's "u can only post in discussions if you own the game" feature. :steamfacepalm: an experience truly reserved for the most hated products.

currently standing at a "mostly negative" review, with "mixed" all-time.

in other news that may be amusing to young users if they can even wrap their growing heads around it: once upon a time EA took the blood out of MoH (cuz hey that was wwii and it was a long time ago and we're not even sure there was blood back then), but then CoD stepped up like "we're gonna be the realism franchise." yep.

theres an 18-21 fetish one of the gaming rights holders for the franchise has and repeatedly subjects the characters to because it is "funny." they are getting back at their parent for misplaced trauma, that is why they find it funny.

the rights holder that changed the old one to have slingshots because children would play refuses to acknowledge the other rights holders and seems to also be a one issue robot that only exists online.

supposedly they have been netplaying the genesis game for 20 years, are cybermarried, and want a new game to spice up their chair room play.
