Fed Governor Kugler is resigning
This gives Trump a nominee on committee that sets interest rates.

Do you find this scary?

The economy shrank in July under Trump.

Should he able to influence interest rates.

The Fed wasn't designed to be political.

You realize he will be appointing a new Fed Chairman next May?
So it's a lot more than just one governor.

no i don't find it scary, because I've been expecting for ages hyper inflation, because no one wants to let the bubble pop.

As soon as biden killed the petro dollar, I knew dark days were coming.

If you believe that the economy is going to tank, buy SQQQ
If you believe that the economy is going to rocket, buy TQQQ

It really is that simple
Just a final nail in the coffin of the empire.

Two FOMC board members dissented with the committee's rate decision for the first time in 35 years. Hmm.

They don't care, Fake.
It's more troubling that he's firing the labor statistics commissioner for saying that job creation is lower than anticipated---a statistic which (it should be noted) might actually support the case for lower rates.

Should the Fed cut rates?

Is our economy doing well enough to keep rates higher than the G7?
Next get Jerome Clownell out of there!

Should the Fed cut rates?

Probably not all the way to 1%.

The fed not dropping the rates is partisan against the administration. Par for the course.

Powell is in the hot seat. US rates are high, but inflation is low.

Snark.

Every point amounts to $300 billion in debt service reduction.
