Koudelka, the RPG with awesome fighting music. While i'm thinking about it, "the lost odyssey" has a nice combat music too, more on the hope side than the army march side.

koudelka mentions in my forums? koudelka and the first two shadow hearts games are among my favourite jrpgs of all time. the blending of survival horror/gothic aesthetic with turn based rpg gameplay is incredible.
