pokemon scarlet / violet switch 2 MP

As I understand it ( I've never played pkmn S/V multiplayer before ) the spawns are reduced
when playing in multiplayer.

How is this affected in multiplayer for S2? Do you still get the huge amount of spawns that you normally get in singleplayer or are they still reduced?
