Tired of Anime Girls
So... in any creative endeavor, there will inevitably be female characters. That's fine. But anime girls have become nothing but cliches.

90% of them are/have:
1.) Super-thin and tiny but somehow have Superman level of strength. (Or magic powers.)
2.) Villainess with infinite contrivances as to why she cannot be defeated.
3.) Weak damsel (usually with big boobs)
4.) Perpetually annoyed by everything.
5.) Have no real reason to like the male protagonist.
6.) Insignificant to the story.
7.) Bimbo. (Sorry, I don't have a better word for it.)
8.) Abusive to the male protagonist without consequence. (Regardless of situation or circumstance.)
9.) Exceedingly high-pitched voice that no real adult has.
10.) Highly skilled, but we never get a backstory on how these skills were acquired. Usually without a shred of hardship or effort shown. (Or maybe one scene.)
11.) Robot.

Basically just use one of those or combine them. That's every modern anime girl.

Gone are the days of unique and interesting female characters in anime. They are all just copies and tropes.

I never cared for it, it seemed, perverse, disturbing. Barely teenage girls with Perky melon sized breasts wearing short skirts flopping around showing off her apple bottom in skin tight panties while some PRE teen anime boy would "WAHHHHH" with big wide open eyes, jaw dropping. It was umm.... it was... unsettling.

if you're interested in higurashi either read the visual novel or don't touch it at all, the anime misses the point completely

When your list is that long it really removes any weight to your argument lmao

Normally, yeah. But Anime really does follow the same formulas over and over again.

There's a reason a lot of hit Anime becomes hits. Often times it's because they break free from those formulas and focus on something else.

Some gags were funny at least, like when Naruto pretended to be Sasuke, Sakura was all over him but then out of nowhere he had to take a dump so he ran away.
Short skirt floping and swaying in slow motion to reveal skin tight panties molded to an apple bottom as some preteen boy takes notice and responds in slow motion (O)_(O) "WAHHHHHHH!" That's the gist of MOST anime.
lonely fat weebs love them so it still brings money

Name a modern anime girl that isn't a waifish asian maiden. Or "girl boss" stereotype.

Rumiko Takahashi understood how to appeal to a wide audience. Men as well as women. While telling stories from a distinctly female perspective. Presenting characters as complex emotional creatures. That vary not just based on who they are. But on how the experience shapes them. That's good writing!

These days? Anime girls are infallible masters of everything or just damsels. Exceptions are rare.

Frieren and Fern from "Sousou no Frieren".
Every single character from "New Game!"
The entire cast of "Harukana Receive"

Frieren and Fern are such fantastic characters. That show was such a great change of formula.
