Remember pre-ripped jeans?
You'd try to buy pants, but they all had holes all over and the stores were charging more for that crap.

You'd walk out of a store with holes over your knees, as if you were some skater that had fallen over and over, draging your knees on concrete.

No matter how much you looked, there were only sliced and teared pants. No one would sell you an entire pair of paints. "No one wears those anymore" - they'd say. If you thought you found a whole pair of pants, you'd only realize when wearing the first time that it has no pockets! They have been "stylishly" torn out.

I'm so glad that's over.
Whenever I see someone with torn pants, I don't think "well, that's just how it goes" anymore. I just assume they are sleazy and don't bother buying a new pair. "Hey, jackass, buy yourself some new clothes, those are worn out", I think.

I'd take pre-ripped jeans if I could still get an 89c 5 layer burrito at taco bell
I don’t understand why people buy visors. It’s basically “half a hat”.

It occultates bright light sources from above, while letting the top of the hat free to breathe.

That said, I also preffer a full cap instead.
Back in school I tripped and fell on the pavement. The fall made me land on my knee and tore a hole in my jeans. My friends all thought I was hopping on to the ripped jeans trend.

im a skater whose jeans are mostly ripped from injuries and such, you seem to be pretty judgemental of people of how they dress, which in my opinion, is really childish, though nowadays my daily outfit consists of metal band longsleeve, green camo shorts, combat boots.

If you are actually a skater or someone with good reason to have hole in your pants, its not an issue. Just like painters have drops of paint all over. Its an issue if your daily clothes are like that.

And for the military look, I'd say its a downgrade, really.

I remember those. It was not that hard to find non ripped jeans when those were THE fashion.

Plenty of normal people wanted normal, fully made jeans, they are work clothes, of a sort.

Just glad fashion does not apply to safety gear, can you imagine, welders goggles without the tinted lens, or safety harnesses without the harness. XD
I remember when jeans with sewn on patches was fashionable. You get to an age where you just can't get away with that type of expression anymore. Piercings, tattoos and leathers is fine but an adult wearing jeans with sewn on patches is just asking for trouble.

Now I'm starting to sound like Stewart Lee. Damn you Stewart Lee!

I used to wear jeans all the time. I antiqued them myself. The holes start as white horizontal threads at the knees. And I didn't care they were threadbare. Good times.

metalhead, not really military, a good chunk of metalheads dress like I do.
It's not over. I still see women wearing them.

I'm still waiting for JNCO jeans to come back.
People should not wear jeans, it is harmful.
A dress, sweatpants or similar is what all should wear

War-loving metalheads only.

Over here, metalheads dress all black (with black metal shirts).

Well, its not ubiquitous anymore. I don't remember last time I've seen people wear them.

What kind of trouble?
