AMD auto update

Has AMD auto update scared the ♥♥♥♥ out of anyone else? I was just playing a game and it popped up, I thought the game had crashed for a second. damn I need to turn it off in task scheduler.

There is no reason for it to be a random command prompt like that. A normal notification popup would be fine.

DDU wipe everything out for GPU in safe mode and disable Driver Updates via Windows Updates. Reboot and download and install latest AMD GPU Driver. If you have AMD Motherboard then also download + install latest Ryzen Chipset Driver as well. During the AMD installer uptick the box for auto updates

Ive got a "zero tier" launcher on mine. "ZTLauncher"

Someone was trying to implement remote access or set up some kind of vpn. I thought it was related to AMD update or something but its not.

Ive removed it. I need Azza to teach me how to edit my registry competently.

In the end I just reinstall and reset the router. Meh.
