*do people still eat those?
Big fan of peanut M&Ms and Haribo gummy bears.
One for a friend who helped us out a few weeks ago because all four of us managed to get sick independently at the same time
One for our neighbor who has already mowed our lawn twice this season (he's a retired landscaper and I think it just drives him crazy, but we make a point of doing this kind of thing to thank him anyway)
And one for us, lol.
Usually if they're for other people, I keep the recipe somewhat tame. So I'm going with a relatively conventional vanilla bean yellow cake with chocolate whipped buttercream.
You should try Albanase gummy bears if you haven't. They're a lot better than Haribo, IMO.

I've developed a sweet tooth since giving up the booze because I need to get the sugar rush from somewhere and have started to improvise. Skittles and Dairy Milk is a good combo.
