probably but the lower half is always covered in thick fur
then again, I've never heard anyone make a big deal over centar teats...
Humans do it for balancing purposes. It wouldn't seem necessary for a centaur given the horse half is so big and human arms relatively small.
running is in the hips, where the phantoms start, thus they trigger small arm movements out of association.
afaik centaurs would be the same, as horses are similar and whether you extend the horse anatomy or graft a human on the result is still muscular stimulation which requires the manhalf to brace to get up to speed.
supposedly the traditional ninja run with arms at waist is based on the same concept, and the arms flying behind comes from a specific advancement where the center of mass is outside of the body while running and the hands are used as counterbalances and to fine-tune toe movements by creating interference, so that they don't autonomically cramp and contract and disrupt the foot's widening and flattening as a spring board for the momentum. as if they did this would create counter forces which would twist the momentum into certain muscle groups and likely make you fall down and/or rip a major muscle group.
