thus the optimal price is for whatever price leads to the highest revenue.
price x leads to y copies sold.
when x * y is at max thats best price for x.
this is not influenced at all by production price but it can be by purchasing power.. if inflation hits/economy drops than people can not buy as much and thus value y drops
from thos a new max point and value x derives.
this does however not affect most in the world as
there is already regional pricing so the only region that might see their prices dropped to keep up with the economic collapse in the usa.. IS the usa prices everybody else stay the same.
currency exchanhe rates can do much more but than it hightly depends what nation the game is sold from. and thus in what currency the dev is paid.
