But it all depends on the monitor size, I have a 43" monitor so it needs to be 4K.
1080p will def give the best fps, but i think the loss in clarity doesnt make it worth it. 1440p you get the best fo both worlds, but as long as you enjoy it, thats all that matters!
I mean yeah, but i just prefer more fps, and higher settings. 4k can give me 60, but i want more, and the dip to 1440p isnt that noticeable for me.But i dont think theres any wrong way to play games, i just think 1440p gives the best of both.
So higher resolutions don't really matter unless you have a higher level monitor that can handle it. Games pushing higher textures just slog the game down and make controls feel clunky.
Up/down scale is a joke and a waste of resources that does not do any justice to the picture quality.
With my TV as a monitor I am super happy with 1920x1080
