I think Exodus 20:3 where it says "you shall have no other gods before me" and Jesus being "before God and sitting by his right hand, etc" are two different meanings of the word "before"

For the former, it could also be read as "besides me". As in, "you should not worship any other gods other than me."

For the latter, it's about location, such as "bowing before the idol" means "bowing in front of the idol"

Jesus was never another rival god, but he sits at his right hand, as in, proximity.

Look I'm just making the point to show that christianity has done some good, alot of morals have been taken from it.
Regardless of whether you like it or not I feel it's a bit harsh to paint it as "absolutely evil"

I think Jesus was a human.
I believe in God, so in a basic sense it is like the Jewish faith.

But I define God as something different.

God is the energy source of creation, and continues to support our existence on an atomic level.
IT is just an energy process that drives the existence of Material Space and Time.

So although it may be a "creator" it isn't involved with what we are doing to it's creation. What we make of this existence is up to us as thinking logical beings.

That's fine, but I'll say one more thing. How many wars were started because of religion? How much death in general is in the name of religion? It's crazy that a man-made tool to keep people in line was used for justification to kill other humans. Especially with the "do unto others" and all that.
