They said they needed money to continue DBZA. They wound up getting over $5k/month from Patreon alone. (They make additional money from streams and merch.)
Then they said it didn't "fulfill them creatively". So, they dropped the series, but kept all the money.
They did a DB Super Abridged. It was only available to people that paid for it.
In a single year they barely put out any content. (Besides the streams.) But managed to go to eight anime conventions!
