Atari Lynx
GBA-SP was the perfect handheld, at least until the Steam Deck.
PS Vita only for the dual sticks (PSP should have went with this design), though PSP for catalogue of games, and not being locked to a proprietary memory stick for storage.
Where's 3DS on this list?

I didn't like the ds or psp. The DS actually would make my hand hurt after awhile playing it. The psp Just sucks. The Vita is the only one I enjoyed using. I liked playing all the ps1 games in handheld because then I could just be lazy in bed with it.

fair but whats wrong with psp
I like all three, though I own more PlayStation Portable games on my PlayStation Vita than PlayStation Vita games. 😅
Favorite games from each is tough pick between Persona 3 Portable and 7th Dragon 2020 for the PlayStation Portable, Freedom Wars for the PlayStation Vita, and tough pick between Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Sky for Nintendo DS.

I never played games digitally on it, only on discs and the noise of the disc plus the slow loading drove me absolutely nuts. All the Vita games I have are digital and have like no loading times.
I still have two PSPs with custom firmware. In terms of build, they're the best handhelds. The lack of a second thumbstick is a downside, but I'm looking to mod one of them with a raspberry pi and a second thumbstick at some point.

Nothing really. The intention was to mod one into a PSPi. I only picked up the second one because it was a PSP-1000 in near-mint condition from Japan.

3ds for me, vita is really neat but it doesn't have a lot of games. It's kinda sad to see that nobody makes these handhelds which are actually small anymore.
