I'm surprised its not a bad joke.

I wouldn't say he was the best Batman, but basically most old movies are superior to the slop today, even the ones that were slagged off in their time. At least Schumacher did something interesting.

His best role was in Heat, not Batman.

Of course Heat is a masterpiece and indeed best role. But he also, imo, played the best Batman on film. Doesn’t mean it was his best role.
