Windows 11 is removing BypassNRO...
You were able to set up Windows 11 without a Microsoft account and internet connection by opening the command prompt and running "oobe\BypassNRO". Now they're removing it for "security and user experience".

It's still possible to set up with a local account, though it's more complicated and requires more steps now. But who knows how long that will still work?

You can also just install Linux next time. :winter2019happydog:

installed and setup windows 11 with local account no problem and my pc doesn't support windows 11. I just used Rufus to create a installation media and told it to create a local account on my pc when it installs windows, without jumping through all kinds of hoops

They can track me all they want, but they can't pin anything on me in the courts. So why would I give a ♥♥♥♥ about linux?

Can you use SteamOS without Steam account? 🤔

If you can't, will people boycott Steam as much as they'll boycott Microsoft?

🤔
Windows 10 works very well for me, no thank ye. But that is good to know!

Windows 11 has built-in & pretty blantant spyware. Good ol, "recall" feature which once AI advances a bit more, might gather around enough info, so they can make a full profile about you.
Microsoft really does love making horrible mistakes.
Why not just make a good OS and be happy that people want to use it?

They even did a bunch of BS basically mtx for their server licenses/user licenses.

If I get pinned it's only my fault for not lobbying enough and building enough connections with my local law officials & other powerful people.

You don't become untouchable by hiding, it's through your network. With all that said, there's nothing to pin me for, everything's alleged. 🤣

Windows (or Microsoft) doesn't need Recall to see your data or to gather information about you. Operating systems have full access to your machine (including hard drive) at all times.

Features like Recall are only made to benefit the user and drive innovation, not to spy on the user. There is nothing Windows can do with Recall that they cannot already do via other (more stealthy) means, and if spying was the intention, they wouldn't do it in bright daylight.

Recall is NPU-powered component that runs locally. The ironic part is that the people who complain about it will likely never have NPU-powered computers. They're expensive and exist mainly on arm64.

People who are freaked out by Recall to the point where they have no trust whatsoever shouldn't run Windows to begin with. Recall doesn't expose your data any more than running Windows does.

Wow that is just awful. I used that myself since it demands wifi connection to proceed with starting the OS for the first time. I don't use or have wifi.

Why it NEEDS you to create an account or attach an account email to them so they can "save your settings" is just BS.

It assumes people are stupid and need everything done for them... fine... but to remove the ability to bypass such a thing. What are you supposed to do if you can't get wifi? Just return the computer?

Linux will be my next OS now for sure.

Here comes the woke person, wearing his pink glasses with zero understanding on how the world operates.

I play my PC games from a cloud on my phone in DeX mode, without a Google account, with enabled app tracker protection, and I download my Play Store apps from Aurora Store in anonymous mode. It doesn't bother me.

There are legitimate reasons to criticize Microsoft (just like other corporations too) but the misleading FUD campaign around AI/Recall isn't it. Especially when surprisingly few people who talk about it even know anything about it.

More than hide, data obfuscation, data poisoning, data encryption, etc. Even when using Linux.

It's not about the present, it's about what could happen in a decade or two. Anyhow you're doing good, since you understood the foundations in how the "game" is played.

Yes and that's why you setup generational legal protection by having a solid network. Rich people stick together my dude. Law is blind to the rich, always has been.

How many epstein guys were punished? Is diddy even in jail, I don't see any proof. Even insanely high profile ♥♥♥♥ like this gets sweped under the rug.
