I know people on the left have this black and white worldview where anyone who isn't fully on their side MUST be working with some enemy, but it's just a delusion. The US doesn't want to throw a bunch of money at Ukraine in a war that does not interest us. This is not the same thing as Russia being an ally. And furthermore the guy didn't just claim people thought or believed that, he's claiming people have been saying it, which is even more false.

Also, the only schools that have been "defunded" at the ones in which students have actually taken over and occupied the facilities, denied Jewish students access to campus based solely on their ethnicity, or have made sports an unsafe place for women. These are schools doing stupid ♥♥♥♥ that have gotten themselves defunded. That's not the same thing as the US getting rid of schools.

And no, fascists do not purge and reduce the size of government. They want government control all the regulations it can, control energy, control education, control law enforcement, because the person on top controls all those bureaucracies. By eliminating some of these, it gives power over those things to the states, which again, is the opposite of consolidating power, it's relinquishing it.

There's nothing credible about the individual in that video. He's just getting a spotlight right now because it's what a particular echo chamber wants to hear and believe to be true.

A minimum of education and not having skipped history classes are sufficient to make that decision.

There is a certain event that is slammed into kids every year even when there are historical events before and after that are much more meaningful, especially to America but, also the world. Everyone whines about fascism but, every description has nothing unique to it. Often having qualities similar to communist nations or just broad authoritarianism.
