Because there is no "unified monolithic Left" where somehow everyone agrees that blowing up cars is bad, because quite frankly, no one necessarily thinks that blowing up cars is good either. Sure, criminal damage is illegal, but its only an object, no one is physically getting hurt, but if you believe physical possessions have more value than human life, I don't know what to tell you, and while acts of violence/destruction are clearly wrong, sometimes its the only action left to reach or push an agenda.
