Japan has a massive population decline as a result of their insular policies. At some point, they are going to need a large influx of immigrants to maintain the country, and this will undoubtedly have an affect on their culture.

Honestly I'm pretty excited for the near future of China. It's been such a pleasant surprise to see how they've improved over the last two decades. Especially now that their semiconductor technology is just about up to modern standards, even if not cutting edge. Also discovering how girls Frontline and honkai impact was made by Chinese developers.

It goes without saying that in order to catch up to the west china has had to improve at a faster rate. Now that they're about matching the west I'm hoping to see them surpass it and encourage the west to course correct away from its current culture of navel gazing stagnation.

Tell that to my father in laws relatives who were massacred by the Japanese during the invasion of Hong Kong.

His grandmother was enslaved and forced to do horrendous things, so much so she wouldn't talk about it.

A great uncle of mine was captured during the fall of Singapore and spent years suffering in a labour camp building the infamous Burma railway.

Whilst I respect the Japanese culture I do think they got away with an awful lot with very little in the way of justice, especially when you look at what happened in Europe post war.

Well Im pretty sure the west would like to see China end their plan of world domination because they are far behind US, their military and economy is crumbling, their population is disloyal, and they lack allies. Theres no way they could win a war or the people would accept an invasion from a communist dictatorship. Our military is a hundred times stronger and the people are armed and trained. So crap in one hand and wish in the other and see which one fills up faster.
