Everyone on the Internet seems to be an armchair know it all "expert"
When it's the complete opposite. That goes for any subject matter, whether politics, science, tech, etc.

Not only is this phenomenon prominent here on OT, but every other social media discussion (FB, Youtube, Reddit).

It's usually majority of the time some 15-25 year old college kid who attended a pointless liberal arts class and suddenly thinks they have all of the answers to life, when that person likely never even leaves their cob web infested basement for any length of time during the day to go outside and touch some grass. You only gain knowledge as you age, and actually experience life first hand and through the choices you make in life, learning as you go.

The know it all's on forums 100% have no actual credentials, unlike people whom have studied a particular subject matter for all of their lives and actually know what it is that they're talking about. People are hive minded, and only go by what their echo chambers want them to think and feel, without using any sort of discernment of your own.

There's even people here who have blatantly said: "I'm smarter than you". Laughable, these people lack self awareness as it's nothing more than the Dunning-Kruger effect.

We're all experts in forum's nonsense I'll say.

People don't need to be experts to see BS from a mile away.
I don't know anything, maybe it is because my chair is without an arm?

be armchair is not autowin button

many expert armchair got bad surprise when paesant mess their plan

if is more on the field you learn how war work, because mostly expert armchair mistake are often they use outdated plan or underestimate old strategy and were too obseded with very shiny toy

mostly war teach us in last 5 years and even since multi decade, cheap work better than very expansive toy, crappy drone of 1000$ seem to work better than 1 million $ gbu

seem lancet work better to mess logistic than jdam bomb
I come to Steam OT for the legal and medical advice.

I find it endlessly funny when the ones with the lowest level of knowledge always claim to be experts on the field.

And by "endlessly funny" i mean "i would break their legs if their tried that on me irl"

Who are you to decide who is an expert?

People have been talking for thousands of years....
I know very little about furniture making and upholstery.

Okay, so you don't agree with someone? Ever consider someone might be jerking you off to get a rise out of you? It takes one to know one.

If they are a 15 to 25 year know-it-all it would be obvious. What do you really care? Do you need to feel correct, is that it? Are you seeking validation? What is there to prove? Why and of all places ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ forums that are the internet? :steammocking: Don't forget, I am a Doctor. Even a quack can hold a Doctorate. :steammocking:
