Donald Trump suggests US could join British Commonwealth
US are finally coming back into the fold of the Empire.

I knew Donald Trump was a monarchist, he could become the King of America.

President Donald Trump suggested that the United States could join the British Commonwealth on Friday in a post to Truth Social, his social media platform.

The president shared an article from British tabloid The Sun reporting that King Charles III was making a "secret offer" to the White House, and that plans are in process for the U.S. to become an associate member of the international organization.

The commonwealth doesn't exactly exist as it did in the past. Many of the commonwealth nations are ex-British colonies like India, and well, that does describe the U.S.A., more or less, so in that regard it makes sense. Doesn't necessarily mean the British would have any direct control over the U.S.A. to the best of my understanding. I don't know enough about how the commonwealth operates in the modern era to know if it'd be a good idea or not though.

The fact that the USA will soon become the 47th oblast of the Russian Federation might spoil these plans....

Most of the countries in the Commonwealth are Republican.

I doubt it could hurt, but it's unlikely going to happen. If it did it could help relations between the US and Canada in some small way.

Trumps kids are a little old for Williams daughter.... Maybe he has a grandchild closer to her age, I don't think he would want any of Harry's kids in the family no matter if it is royal blood.

I think he means the U.S.A. voluntarily joining the Russian federation. Lotta people think Putin and Trump are in cahoots, with Trump as the subordinate party in the relationship.

No nukes needed if the U.S.A. allows Russia to annex it.
