What's the reason Trump failed?
A) Terrible peace plan (from the beginning),
B) Trump's terrible negotiation skills,
C) Both A and B combined.
D) His tendency to promise things to his voters that he simply cannot deliver.
Zelensky clearly doesn't want peace for his country.
And we all know what the media response would have been if Trump had forced peace upon him.
This way is faster and cheaper for the United States.
People get angry when they hear truths that they don't want to hear.
He learned, that he doesn't need to deliver, since his minions are treating his promises, like they already happened. And when they don't they switch the subject. Often to transgender issues. Because that's all they got.
But of course, he had dollar signs in his eyes, and is obsessed with sucking up every drop of oil and gas in Ukraine.
The issue of course is, most of those minerals, are in territories occupied by the Russians.
Just pack it up, and stay out of other affairs, Mr Trump.
Somehow, I doubt that.
Military equipment doesn't always win wars, the Americans learned that when they fought the Taliban and Vietcong.
Ukraine has the capability to continue the fight at least for several months, even if all Western support ceased today. And they would continue fighting and hope for something to happen, like Trump and/or Putin dying.
