I understand why the guy has to die in season 2, but that doesn't mean the series shouldn't have more seasons. It is entirely possible for it to just keep on going on, and my dearest wish is for it to just proceed through the OT and ST time lines through the eyes of characters that had little or no time in the movies. The best thing about this idea is that it can give the sequel haters new stories without having to invalidate the experience of those who did appreciate them.

just go read the hundreds of star wars novels/comics and play the hundreds of video games. the actual films/shows of star wars have always been the least interesting part of the franchise to me personally. the universe itself is interesting though, just not usually what lucas/disney do with it.

I still have a bit of faith that Quantic Dream will pull-through and do a good job with the Star Wars game they're working on. Let us hope the Cage-ification isn't too strong.
